Curious note: Herodotus -called often the father of history- visited Judea in the year 450 A.C and listened to tales about the existence of encaged dragons in Arabia, near Petra, Jordan. This woke up his curiosity and decided to travel there. According to the testimonies written by this historian, he found two specimens of dragons with wings that had been locked up in an iron cage, it was characterized like true “ferocious beasts”. |
